Undergrad Poster Day

April 9, 2010

Undergraduate Trinity Computer Science students gave two-minute talks and poster presentations about their final year projects today. A committee of judges selected the top three projects among the class. Congratulations to Aidan Lynch who won first prize for his project on using genetic algorithms to generate novel hash functions, and Padraig Farrell who came joint second for his project on the use of Intel SSE instructions in a generator of sorting algorithms. Both students were supervised by STG member David Gregg.
