Paul Biggar defends PhD

Paul Biggar sailed through his viva voce PhD exam this morning. The examiners, Prof. Paul Kelly of Imperial College London, and Prof. Bill Harrison of TCD, recommended the PhD be awarded subject to minor corrections. Paul’s dissertaion is entitled “Design and Implementations of an Ahead-of-Time PHP compiler”, and deals with compilation and static analysis of PHP programs.
